its a man. trans. when taking off it jerks a little. but when i get out of 2nd gear it runs fine. Transmission? What could it be the clutch going bad?

In first gear they are just a little touchy.. If you are new to the car it just takes a little while to get used to holding the clutch in barely when switching from 1st and 2nd and it will generate nice smooth shifts. If there is a problem with the transmission I can't help you but good luck!
