Does anyone know the interchangablity of exterior body parts for the Zx2 & 3rd Gen Sedan/Wagon? (i.e. does the hood off of a Zx2 fit a sedan, does the front clip of a Tracer fit a Zx2, does the fenders of a Zx2 fit a 3rd Gen Sedan, ect.)

Any and all answers to this post would be very helpful...

the zx2 hood and 4 door hods will not swap.. escort-tracer will for 3gs, 2gs differer slightley in that the headlights are square on the tracer, the grilles are all way diferent between gts, tracers, and years of lxs.

Yes, it should but there will be some trimming and body work required to make it fit and work correctly.

It will never bolt up. The Sable is wider as well not to mention it shares nothing with the zx2.

they bolt right up.. might look funny but u can swap front end but u have to get everything from the doors to the front including header panels.


there was a pic of a 4 door with the zx2 swap and looked funny. there is a couple of 2nd gens with 3rd gen swaps as well

Just unbolt and swap over. Same mounting points I believe.
