    I have a 2000 ford escot SE. does the ZX2 dash of the same year fit it? i just want the tach and layout of the ZX2's dash in my car.

    Side to side it fits fine,but your left with about a 1 inch gap where the dash curves out to meet the door panel

    forgot to mention it is an auto to 5spd swap. with that being said someone needs a shortshifter installed!

    Someone should do a "how-to" on replacing the dash on the 3rd. gen cars (or a "how-to" swap the ZX2 dash in a 3rd. gen sedan)
