I agree. It comes with a stant tstat and sensor. Someone said the price was high for what it is but if you subtract the tstat and sensor cost it comes to around $100 for the housing unit alone.looks like it may be a good upgrade from fords "PLASTIC EVERYTHING" cooling system components
I swapped out the original tstat housing and replaced it with one out of a '98. It has one sensor on top like the one in the link. Not for a ZX2.... Only has 1 fitting for the sensors ...
Thanks for clearing that up!So I remember how I worked this.
Called massive speed who makes these. They have two units (a 1 sensor port and a 2 sensor ports).

Tell them you need a two sensor port. Then you need to order sensors and an outlet. Their outlet is aluminum, but it is straight. You need to buy a plastic outlet (low cost at a autozone, advanced auto, etc.) for a previous year escort zx2. It may sound like a waste, but it is absolutely not. The corrosion & associated leaks come from the housing to the head, not from the outlet to the housing.
Just so we're clear, if you want this to work on a zetec engine you have to do 2 things A) Request the 2 sensor model and B) Request that they drill out the sensor port?I owe you a picture of ours.
Yes, it is small, but they drilled it open prior to shipping per my request.
