Hello, im new to this forum so thanks in advance for any responses.

My friend and I have recently put a Zetec 1.8 engine into his escort.

Its got fuel, spark and air, starts but has trouble idling you can hold your foot on the accellerator and it will struggle iddling then suddenly kick in and rev then die then rev (all with the accellerator firmly down). I know the engine ran fine before we did the conversion as its out of a running car which we saw running before we took it.

We have strong beliefs that its to do with the vacume piping as none of that is hooked up and kinda all over the place.

Could anyon suggest how that routes ie a map like "Comes out inlet manifold to the thing and out of that to the wotsit" Please see pictures below.
