right? when I was a frequent visitor here a few years ago there was a lot of activity :( I have been running around trying to dig up old post info and see if we can get some of the dinosaurs back in action.

I have a feeling some of the big dogs may have abandoned the scort scene....we need to revive this, Everyone loves the underdog's...

I find the new site here harder to navigate. Wonder if if others feel the same and don't come here as much? Just a thought.

Until you said, something, hadn't realized that the "Members" sub-heading had been removed.
Given the loss of "view posts since last visit," I tend to keep track of activity via...
    https://www.feoa.net/recent-activity/
    https://www.feoa.net/threads/view-posts-since-last-visit-link.81543/#post-724976

There was another feature that was pretty handy, don't think it was "New Posts," but don't recall what that was at the moment.

Due to wrecks, low resale value, rust, less and less 'scorts on the roads every day.
Given their age, still notice a "lot" of them though. I think the '92-'90s are pretty well gone around here; just '93 and up remain.
Some I notice parked as though a 'backup' vehicle that may be seldom driven or maintained only as required.

The newest Escort is now 10 years old. That's probably why. Most of the active posters from "back in the day" have moved on to bigger and better things. Somehow, I'm still here. :meh:

I'm still driving mine. Will be 23 years at the end of this month that I bought it.

As a matter of fact, my car was built this day, 1990. 23 years old as of today.

Congrats. Would be nice to "retire" mine to use outside the rust-belt. Would last "forever." Supposed I could just store it up for the Winters but "storage" (parking) space ain't exactly a plenty. Not fair to the neighbs for a household to have five cars.

There is nothing wrong with moving on to bigger and better things but that doesn't mean you have to abandon the mothership or sell your baby. I want nicer cars, like an M3 someday but for now I still have my escort and im not getting rid of it unless it rotts away.
My next purchase will be a fuel efficient 2012 or 13 focus, and possibly an excape.

I still have my GT as well, although I don't drive it much. A newborn baby will do that to you - and the choice isn't really hard at all. Too bad for the GT.

I also noticed we lost some people right around the time the new site was put up. Maybe that has something to do with it.

    Posting, Whoring. Whoring, Posting.

    Maxin', Fronting. Frontin' and Maxin'.

Will drive my Escort to work today for the first time in at least 2 years after having brought it "back to life".

I'm sure someone can find out post count. How many posts for the last year of the old forum and how many for the first year of the new forum. Moderators should know or be able to find out. My guess is a LOT less. Perhaps I'm wrong.

You just click on the username, it shows the post count amount other things.
:Edit: I just started a thread about the post count issue in the "questions, comments, and suggestions" section.

    Now...

No, I meant total posts on the whole site for a year. I know you can check a persons post count from when they joined. I meant total posts from everyone for a year before and after. Guess I didn't make myself clear.
