    This isn't actually too bad if you put a pipe plug in the end of it.
    That's how industrial oil tanks are often plumbed. Of course in an automotive situation one has to consider the issue of the piping getting hit and breaking the oil pan:

    Ugh. I fugged up. I was cleaning my old CRT computer monitor and scuffed up the screen. Luckily it was just the anti glare cover.
    30 minutes and a paint scraper later I had it removed.
    Now I get headaches when using my computer :(

    But on the good side, I get to test out a theory I had for years. That is that the anti glare cover on a CRT is just a piece of clear film (like a phones screen protector) with window tint on it.
    Luckily I been getting a little more spare time lately so I'll put that one to the test some time soon.
