I'm looking for a 91-96 wagon, escort or tracer. Dallas TX area.

Want, stick shift, decent interior. Prefer manual windows and door locks to switches that don't work and window motors that grind or are frozen.

Not expecting perfection, but can't handle a beat to h-e-double-hockey-sticks junker with a nasty interior.

i talked to that seller when the ad was first posted, cute car but it's an automatic. i was going to look at it anyway, it was orig priced at $1k. the seller loves her car and increased the price -- and didn't call me back with directions. which doesn't matter because i really want a stick not auto.

close but no wagon. thanks for the link tho. keep 'em coming. (just not the 1993 escort lx dallas, i drove it last night, cemented the fact that i want a stick)

Mine is a '95 5spd. Everything is manual but it does have a working cruise and A/C.

Houston and I are exchanging messages, looking for pics and vin. Will let you know how that goes. Meanwhile, please keep sending leads.

I think that the wagons have 1.9 stock, and that the sportier models (GX?) have the 1.8. I look at the front grill on the 2 dr hatchbacks -- slanted grill lines, bet it's a 1.8.

I test drove a 1.9 2dr hatchback last week. It was a peppy bstrd. Haven't driven a 1.8, bet it would be fun.

A 2dr would be great for fun, but I'd lose the WagonStyle...

unfortunately they never made a 1.8 wagon. people have done conversions, though.

Got *the* wagon from stg455 in Houston today. Flew down there, just got home with it.

I'm very happy. Fun that I found what I was looking for here. Straight up seller and a pretty car.

Will fill up gas tank in the morning, eager to see mpg. 277 miles, still have over 1/4 tank left.
