It certainly is in nice condition but I don't think you will get what you are looking for. You put a lot into it for sure. Just curious, if there wasn't any rust why was it repainted? Did you change from the factory colour or something?

how well do you think 11 yr old paint looks?? Just sit and thing about that .. swirl marks and shit .. listen dude .. don't be haten.. it is white .. you can see there is no rust and it looks mnit... so why am I painting it again this winter... because I like my stuff mint show quality mint. It is getting stripped to the metal again and epoxy'd , cloour primed and then respayed ... why cause i can do it and it costs me nothing .. my bro has a body shop. So why not. If you could paint your car and keep it looking like brand new wouldn't you .. I am not trying to sell it because I know no one here can afford it just threw it out there. Most of the people can't afford to have the head pulled of and the work done then reinstalled.. nothing against most .. but I am just very perticular abuot my stuff. if it isn't mint or right replace it.

I did receieve a offer this summer at a Audio show for 4500 without system and rims .. but I turned him down because I didn't want to start another one in the middle of summer.. If I call this dude he would take it .. but his scort was smashed in every corner /..so I would rather this guy not get it so that is why I don't call him .. just to ruin a perfect car .. no way .. I will keep this for life if I don't sell it lol wierd and it won't be worth alot but owell I will still have one.

I'm aware of the prices of other cars on auttoader. But, it doesn't necesarily mean that's what they're getting for their cars. As for exhaust. Sure, it was 1K, but if I got your car, it'd be going turbo, so the exhaust is now useless. I'd have to upgrade to something bigger. Same for headwork. The whole engine would probably be pulled for a GTX. And paint, that's always ncie to have a good looking car. As for brakes, and ALL aftermarket parts. Come on. I KNOW, you know cars are alwys a BAAAAD investment. You rarely get back what you put into them. As is the case with Escorts.
    Like I said, I'd give u 3k for it.

11 yr old paint can look just fine, my other car is now 12, going on 13 with the factory paint and it looks as good as new when it is detailed. It is a garaged kept car that only sees nice weather from April to October. I'm not haten dude. Guess I'm just not as anal about my escort. At the end of the day it's still an escort, not a Ferrari....

How many km are on it? If it's under 125,000km... with the rims still on it, you could easily get $4500 IMO. Turbo, the exhaust is ample for a turbo setup, but the rest will probably need work. I would still say that he's not asking a horrible price. Had I seen this a month ago, I might have considered it... although I'm not a huge fan of the rims. It is a very clean car though.

right but see you guys aren't buying it for being a stock car .. with the 2.5 inch exhaust that means you don't have to spend the money on it .. with the new struts springs brakes calipers strut mounts and all the other goodies .. that means you don't have to worry about them .. and for anyone who knows .. once you lower a car which I am sure most of the people who like it to go hot rodding in wuold .. you have to do stuts aswell .. also new camber kits ball joints everything.. I am not trying to sell it but if the money showed up then I would .. but someone said that there wasn't a rust free scort in ontario and I just begged to differ. as you can see from my pic .. there is no rust .. and put it up on a hoist .. no rust .. inside the door bottoms no rust. So if someone doesn't want it I really don't care .. I have to 2.5 ltr v6 going in over the winter .. so more honda's will have to worry .. ( like they don't already ) then I will be selling a very strong running 1.8 but until then .. my original post for for the guys who wanted a rust free car and he was only looking to spend 1500 - 2000 .. that isn't giong to get you a GT in nice shape .. thats for sure.

Don't get me wrong, that's all right, and I agree. I'm just stating you dont get a return on your investment in cars. Or atleast, these cars.

I'm not sure if he comes around, but if you PM KLZEscort, he could help wyou with the swap if you have quetions. If he remembers. He did the first swap way back ebfore i got my GT, so that was like 2+ years ago.
How many KM's does your car have?

I got my GT for 1800. it had 235K on it. It was still in pretty decent condition for a 10 year old car. It was only supposed to last the summer, but it's going strong on two years now. Although I'm not sure how much longer it will last.

you have me beat by 100 000 kms .. wow yours is high lol .. anyways I have the whole car for the swap so I have the complete harness and mounts tranny everything .. complete car so the swap should be fairly easy .. I am just not sure if I have to get axles made or not .. that is my biggest worry everything else will be easy I am sure .. I have 2 hoists .. 2 engine stands .. a full shop at my fingertips you know .. like I said the only thing I don't want to find out is if I need axles made .. lol .. I have heard horror stories about that

So if it's got 135k.. I'd probably offer $4000ish if I were to buy it. But I'm broke and have no need for another car!
