I dont have any recent PM's. Strange.

The adjustable wastegate and BOV let you dial down the boost to whatever you are comfortable with. So yes, this setup will let you keep stock internals and ecu etc.

As far as it being complete, it looks like everything you need is here. Gaskets, bolts and all. I never installed it, so I do not know first hand. However, looking at my setup here and some others I've seen, this has way more stuff included. according to my check list of what I needed, this is it.

The only concern is reworking the intercooler piping. The original setup had a tiny side mounted intercooler. I put my larger center mounted intercooler (also never installed) in this listing as I dont have the side mount one. It isn't hard to do, I just want to be upfront that there is some work to be done. But it will be worth it for that giant intercooler.

Do you want the engine too? Probably your best bet, because I can ship everything on a pallet from my loading dock at work to your house about as cheap as UPS will do just the turbo kit. The weight of the turbo kit alone will make it a little expensive, and it is bulky.

Even a bit cheaper if it goes on a pallet from my dock to your work loading dock, because residential lift gate service for pallets has a surcharge.

Let me know, I'm going to start calling my shippers now.

and mileage question, I would go for it. running low boost on an engine with that many miles isnt that bad. My car had 200,000 on it. But I was planning on porting out the spi engine a little, and doing mild head/valve work to it, then turbo it when it was swapped into the car. Alas that never happened.

But I am no turbo expert. I would seek the advice of jeffescortlx. I think that is his name here. a true escort turbo guru. I know basics and have good common sense. But I dont want to advise you incorrectly.

    UPS ground is $130.48

weell, of all things my instincts are holding me back, so im going to think everything over some more, i just dont want to pay $900 for something and end up not using or needing it, plus now the tranny in my car is acting up, so i may need to rebuild or replace it soon, AND its leaking coolant from the radiator, other than that, strong engine for the miles, i have a clip of it in the exhaust clip sticky in engine tuning (just sayin)

If you are looking to keep the car for a while, then you might want to look into getting a remanufactured engine. There was a thread here somewhere on the best place. Cost was about $600 if you did labor yourself. Which is relatively easy because it it only involves unbolting and rebolting accessories and transmission. No internal components have to be handled. Common sense and a haynes manual definitely help. But can be done in a weekend.

You order the engine, pull yours out, pull off all components, bolt them to the new engine (called a long block when stripped), install new engine, send old engine back to remanufacturer for core cost return.

This has many perks. Most have a warranty and they have fixed the valve dropping issue. They have performed a 3 way valve job, so the reman engine performs better than the stock ford engine right out of the box.

This was my plan. I was going to reman the 2.0 SPI engine for the better flowing valves and a fresh rebuild for the turbo.

Another reason I say go this route is my horrible experience with my friends turbo eclipse. It started smoking pretty bad, had high mileage and was previously owned by a 17 year old. We took everything apart, bought gasket sets, had everything decked and blasted and checked. Put it back together and it ran great for 600 miles then started smoking again. Repeat and still smokes. New head and still smokes. Took it to a mechanic and still smokes. By this time he had spent more rebuilding his old engine than buying a nice crate engine with a warranty.

Just sayin'. even if you dont get this turbo from me, I dont want you to go thru the hassle i went thru rebuilding something only to have it fail. Plus the valve dropping issue is a time bomb waiting to go off. Theres a thread here about that too with some good info.
