I have one. But, it doesn't stay engaged, so you'd most likely hgave to throw some tape on it to make it stay on

Yeah, that's what's wrong with mine too...the thing still works, but doesn't stay stuck in. It's kinda bad when you need it in the winter here in canada and you have to hold it lol

Haha. I',m in Canada too. mine broke RIGHT at the end of last winter, so I didn't need it.

It's coming to that time when I need it. I have tried three, and all of them are the same. They dont stay on. I was gonna buy a swithc posted in the itnerior section of this site, but they're too expensive...

I've checked, they don't have the 96 style...only the older sqaure ones. If you can take a quick check around to see if they have a working one (stays stuck in) for a decent price I'll pay ya for the part and shipping and such...

Where did you get yours for 2.99? The dealership was $100 CND new, so 20 bucks isn't too much of a problem. I do need a switch (I sure hope it works and stays stuck in) Can you get another one at that price?

Dan, I appreciate your help...looking forward to seeing if you can get one!

Has anyone thought of using a different kind of switch? For instance go into a Crappy tire or any place that sells switchgear and bastardize a switch that will always work no matter what. Its something i thought about but don't really have the knowhow to do it.... Prolly would be simple but I never got around to it.
