Those dumbasses. Don't they know you are only supposed to steal from giant corporate behemoths that you are trying to crush/who can afford it?

That sucks, break ins and stuff like that are happening a lot more where I live, if to many people now you have, say a $500 system in your car, you will wake up one morning to a duct taped broken window, and it all on the Mexican Black Market the next day.

Sorry Sittinlo, that's rotton: You do realize of course that the poor souls who broke into your store only did it because they come from a sad, deprived childhood home. Naturally, you must feel sympathetic towards them - we all have so much and they, sadly, have so little. :sunny:

sorry to hear it. I'm hoping/assuming you had some kind of insurance that will help recover the losses.

I've been broken into once or twice before (my car) and you do feel total violated.

P.S. Whats the fun in having just one firearm!? :)

P.S.S. Foxy: goes like the "clappers"!? LMAO

Ski Free. that game was the sw33test back in the day...must find a copy of it somewhere...

and i'll never understand why everyone must have their own personal arsenal in their home...makes me afraid to live down there.

The thing is the average american isn't a gun toting idiot. I'd be willing to bet 90% of the firearms in the US aren't used except for target shooting or hunting every few years.

That and its one of our founding principals so its kind of "the american way" :)

P.S. Have you ever used a gun? It seem like the people that have gone target shooting in a safe controlled shooting range lose most of their fear of firearms. Fear the person using it not the weapon itself. Dumn analogy I know but bricks don't scare people... unless someone is bashing you with it. The brick isn't going to jump out of the foundation and bash you. Or if it does I'm a little scared too! :)

yeah, it's not the average, law-abiding gun-owner who's behind a homicidal trigger. Did you see "Bowling for Columbine?" That movie pretty much says it all.

well...We are covered for insurance but My ps2 May not be because it was a personal item....The police found like a trail of stuff that went out behind our store and down an alley way into a rather "rough" neighboorhood so they narrowed it down to 1 of the 3 houses over there what pissed me off was how they trashed behind our counters they completely qrecked it back there its going to take about 5 hours to clean up and when they broke the glass there was like 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 billion pieces of glass all over the place that I cleaned up yesterday so of course my hands have all little painfull cuts on them. I got to go there today (normally were closed wensdays) To clean up some more but my dad also said we Have business inturruption insurance which means we can be closed for like a week while we clean up and get compensated for it 8O

I like guns. I don't own any, but I probably will own a pistol and a rifle someday. I don't consider them to be extremely useful for defense, since I know I'd have a hard time pulling a trigger on another living thing. I used to not like them much... but I realize now that if I wanted to kill someone.. I wouldn't need a gun. I've got several hundred items around my home that would make dandy lethal weapons. The point is.. I'm afraid of killers, not gun owners.

Okay, I know of some gun owners who are a little slow to learn respect for their own weapons... they usually grow up a bit after the first time they blow a hole in their wall while playing with it. IMHO, There should be a federal gun training program that should be mandatory if you want to hold a gun (I don't see why anyone should have a problem with a 2 hour certification).. just to keep some of the more ignorant owners from killing their children by accident.

Robofunc: no I've never seen that movie. The guy is an idiot.

Beaver: If I start agreeing with you anymore I'm going to get scared. Whether I'd make it manditory I'm not sure. Just because once you start moving that line its easy enough to move it a little more. I 200% agree anyone that owns one should take some training. and I agree if my life or more likely the life of my loved ones is in danger you can bet I'll scratch the attackers eyes out if I have to *L*. It should only be pulled out if you are ready to use it. And that is only in a life threatening situation. Being beat up doesn't count. You can get yourself out of 99% of the bad situations out there. however if someone is truly in danger of dieing I'd use it. I'd probably feel horrible later for taking someones life whether they deserved it or not. But I'd feel a lot worse if I didn't do anything to stop an innocent person from being killed. They made their choice they (and I) will have to live with it.

95: well glad you should be covered. cleaning up glass is a bitch. leather gloves and a shop vac work wonders.
