Working on EXP

Hey! I'm totally new to this "fixing up a car on my own" thing. No one in my family/friend group does this, and came to love old Escorts/EXPs on my own. I probably won't know any terms right away, so bear with me. Working on mix of diy, and professional help. Wanting to learn as much as I can, so I'll be creeping on here a bit.

Have my 1987 EXP now
Used to have an 85 escort.

should be a sweet little project
Nice! It looks to be complete and original, at least from the outside, including the wheels. That's important because it's really tough to find body parts nowadays.
Was the area below the glass on the right door sanded to metal? If so, best get a protective coat of paint on it soon to protect it even if it's not the permanent repair.

What's the inside like?
Only missing the spoiler,.............
