Wiring up speakers?

    Does it matter which wire goes to which connector on the speaker??? There are two wires and I have no clue which one goes on which connector.

    My brother has a ford probe '95 and he only had a blue one and a red one and they both had a white stripe. which one is negative??

    Negative is usually black or has a black stripe, but not always. As long as you connect the same colour to the same tab on each speaker it doesn't matter; otherways they will be out of phase and you will hear the difference.

    It Matters

    Yes like stated before, black or black striped is usally negitive and red is postive. Make sure you get them right, or else you will get no sound at all, or a huge lack of bass.
