Does anyone know where I might be able to pickup a full wiring diagram for an 89 Escort LX online??
I really need to get a hold of one asap but the dealer I work for is closed for the long weekend.

I´ve always had bad luck finding wiring diagrams for anything online. The hayes service manuals have some wiring diagrams, but not all of them are very specific.

I bought an EVTM from ebay for like $10 for an 89 escort. The EVTM is the Ford factory wiring dagram, and it has everything you ever wanted to know about the wiring in your car. I think everyone should have one. Like I said I got mine cheap from ebay, but if you don´t want to buy one, just let me know what circuit you are trying to figure out, and I will help as best as I can. I could probably upload a few pages to the site too. I don´t think they would like me taking up a lot of space by putting the whole book on the site though. Anyway, let me know what you need.

I bought an Alpine car alarm yesterday (it was on sale...i couldn´t resist).
I need to cut into ignition wiring, +12 Constant, switched 12v, ground, dome light, and a bunch of other stuff.
Need wire colors for all that stuff.

Do you have a Hatch back, 4 door or wagon, and it it manual or automatic tranny?? Some wiring differs from car to car, so let me know and I will post the appropriate diagrams ASAP.

I bought actuators for both doors so I can have the locks pop open when the alarm is disabled.
