the best way would be to remove all the windows that you can....like windows from doors.....and you might want to take off your hathback door if you have a wagon or a hatchback escort...its easier to apply this stuff when the window is not verticaly put.....
The trick is to go slowly...to take your time...and to have someone with a soft scrapper to remove air bubbles as you lay the film....
then when the film is layed on the window...you cut a humm...1/3 inch lip around the edges of each windows..( only for the door windows)..so when you'll roll your windows....the film wont flake off because of the rubber weather strippin...

i had mine professionally done. it cost $180 out the door (including a banner of tint across the windshield). he took out my windows and everything (except the windshield, of course).
no bubbles. no flaws. nothing.
the fronts are 50% and the rears are 35%. i've seen people go 35% all the way around. but it's all out of personal preference (and state laws too :x ).
my suggestion; have a professional handle it. someone who stands by their work. if i did my tint, my car would never sink if submerged in water because of all the bubbles.

I went with 7% around the back, and 17% for the front, works great, but get it done progessionally.

A good tip is to wet the film before you apply it...and then scrap the air bubbles and water with a soft scraper....this way, you can safely apply and move the film around on the glass if you made a mistake...

I have done a lot of windows and the biggest problem I have found (besides HUGE curves) is keeping all the dirt and dust from getting in it..... It is real bad for static and dirt will fly to it like a magnet.... And if you get any dirt, hair, even one wrinklel in that peice it is junk and your done, start over there is NO saving it...... If you want to do it your self be prepared to ruin some tint when you start.....Start from the center and go out to the edges and keep everything wet as so the scraper slides over it and does not catch.....use new razor blades (tint will kill a blade quick). Make sure you scrape the wingow and clean them more times than you think you need..... It is still not clean enugh.... Let us know what you deside and then we will want pics........
