i keep coming up with stupid ideas, and i think this has been covered, but the cosworth rs and usdm escort 2 door have the same rear hatch right? so the huge friggin whal wing will fit on the usdm escorts riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight? just a kinda what if question. no way in hell id ever put one on my car... though it could use a new spoiler.

No, they're completely different hatches on completely different cars.

Someone with a USDM 2gen did install a Cossie spoiler (can't recall the member's name though) but he had to actually adhere it to the glass, whereas on the EDM Escort, it attaches to the hatch itself. Whether it had to also be modified to fit or not, I don't know.

So just with all the other "will it fit" questions... yes it will "fit" but it's not a direct bolt-on. Some modification/creative mounting will be required.

No, the euro Escorts are completely different. Only the 1st gen has any relation to the euro models and I highly doubt that the hatch would swap.

I've always admired that car, it's similar to a rally-x/ tarmac rally car idea I had a while ago... still bouncing it around in my head, if this is do-able I may consider it in the future.
