Hello:

When we increase tire width should
we also correct wheel alignment?

In particularly the camber angle (inward/outward tilt of the top of wheel),
which is probably negative(tops of the wheels are tilted in)
for the stock tires?

In other words, does the proper camber depend
on tire width since it
influences tire contact with the road ?

Does anyone know the stock alignment angles and
their tolerances?

Thank you,

Rob.

the angles depend on the year/model vehicle, but I would ALWAYS recommend getting an alignment when replacing tires...just for the protection of your investment.

camber does not depend on tire width, but it can change with suspension changes (lowering) and rim changes (offset variance).
