So, another dent was put in my book of vehicle ownership.. Once again, not my fault.

So the day started as any other day, little was i to suspect the drama to acompany the rest of the day. I was asked to pick my friend up and we enjoied a delicious lunch together of KFC, and on the way back, the trouble started..

I had begun my left turn across the road into the Lifestyle parking lot, and had stopped while i waited for 2 cars to pass so i could go. I had been stopped for about 5 seconds, when suddenly i hear BAM!, i look in my rear view mirror, and i see 2 cars collide, than BAM again, when a 3rd car was hit, than BAM! again, when the 3rd car came and slammed into my car. The passenger rear corner of my car was completly demolished. The 1/4 panel crumped like a crushed cookie sheet. It hit so hard, it tore open the inside of the trunk and the were peices of shrapnel inside my trunk

Curse your luck all to hell! This is really too much. Two consecutive GTs done in. How do you feel though stiff or sore at all?

I don't think Ford hates you, I think everyone else hates how pimp your car was and decided you shouldn't be allowed to drive it anymore.

Sorry bout your luck man.

Remember... whiplash, lotsa back pain, etc.... you can turn that Escort GT into a new Ford GT.... Sorry to hear about the bad luck... I've been waiting for that to happen when I'm in my Grand Prix... I've avoided small accidents that would wreck the car and not injure me, but I can't bring my self to do it!

Sorry to hear about your sore back and aching neck

But if you are claiming against whoevers at fault, be quick, because once the limit of their insurance coverage is reached you'll have to go to court for the rest. So hurry up before the rest of the drivers do.

Dude:

That blows. Still, I'm having a hard time sympathizing. Before you get all pissy at me for being a hard-a$$, please read on.

If it makes you feel any better, I think the gawds are having more fun with me.

My 8 month pregnant wife got t-boned at an intersection one week ago today (three weeks after a full sized van tried to come through my windshield). Her car's a write-off (it's ok, it's a Kia) and now (maybe as a result) her placenta has collapsed and the baby is starving, so we're going in for induction tomorrow morning. I just got done a 12 hour shift, including driving back and forth in a Lake Huron snow squall and have to work 12 hours Saturday and somehow we have to deliver a kid in between. I was also supposed to work 12 hours tomorrow, but lucked out of the shift, by a small miracle. These are just the significant highlites (I also haven't started Xmas shopping yet, for example).

Do you guys remember how I told you how much I hate Xmas due to my history of Escort failures on Xmas Eve? This is just another pearl on the necklace of hatred, albeit not Escort related.

And you wonder why I'm so miserable to all you pricks.

Merry Xmas to all of you. I hope your holiday is as wonderful as mine and my wife's.

Yeah... that sucks highanddry (wtf is your name anyways?) I hope your kid's okay. I've had the worst karma recently. I've gotten tons of stupid little tickets with absurd surcharges. All the money I've saved up this semester to buy nice xmas stuff with has been completely used to pay all the tickets I've gotten. So now I can't afford to buy my family anything for christmas.

My life just generally sucks. I'm in much of the same boat as highanddry. The harder you work to make things meet, the more your whole pathetic little life just falls apart. That's why you don't save up your money. Take your next paycheck, go out, and spend it on crack.

High I was almost there too. My wife got lightly rearended while pregnant with our 2nd(the little girl in the pic) and then had a little bleeding thet day at work, so the OB's boss said to go on short term disability and stay in hospital until the birth, which was like a week away. Happily everything turned out fine. During the pregnancy, the fill-in OB(the real one was on maternity leave) was Ceasarian happy and kept saying the baby was in sideways, but a quick ultrsound by the on call OB during labour proved that false, and there be no ceasarian. I'm so glad that fill-in OB was off that day!

It's not tranny fluid. It's the orange coolant that GM uses. It's good for a 150,000mi supposedly. Also highly incompatilbe with regular coolant. Put the two together , even in trace amounts, and they turn into gel given a month or so. 8O If the EGT it totaled, you should buy it back and part it out. Get more money from it since I'm sure the insurance will screw you over.
