^ Hey scortgt, ever get your clutch?
nah, i'm prolonging the life of my clutch by taking extra measures, since other things seem to be dying out on my car.... when i put my toyos on the car, it was so smooth, it was ridiculous.... i think my fuel system is crappin out on me.... so if i fix that, and put new inner and outer tie rods on the car (there's lots of play) then it should be good for another 5k miles, if not more
Yeah, dude, I know what you mean. I just had to replace my outer tie rod ends a few weeks ago because my passenger side one came apart at 30 mph. I was lucky too because I was only a block or two away from my apartment building when it happened (I also lucked out because my right side tire didn't go sideways while limping it home). But now it feels like it's starting to come loose again, so now it might be my inner tie rod (damn P.O.S.cort I got :x ....).
Wow Never knew so many so close to home.... and Xceeders too! nice!
Sup dude, you down for the possible GLC meet next month?
depending on location and timing but, i've strayed far away from the Escort scene my freind. after 6 of them i had my fill. I have a modded 95 that i would like to sell and pass on to someone willing to finish it. but i dunno. wanna sell it but i don't.
either way keep me upto date, i'd be willing to come out and meet some new people.
LX or GT, and what's it got?
Hey most every summer we have a festiva festival at Waterfordhills Racepark Clarkston, Michigan which is just north of Detroit. Last year was July 23-24. About 7 of us came. This is at a road race track, no laps for us but you can watch some racing. Entry is free and there is camping.
It would be cool to have a dual meet, Festivas and Escorts.
Here is the threads from last years meet:
We haven't made arrangements for FF 06 yet but I'm assuming in July again. Even if you guys aren't interested I'll post again prior to our meet in case someone wants to come.
Sounds great! That could be our summer 'scort meet, if we have one. But in the meantime, let's get this one sorted out. Talks for a MI 'scort meet started back in spring of LAST YEAR! As you all well know, it's March now, and time's running out. So how 'bout we all decide on a date now. Check back here often guys! Billzie suggested we meet in Toledo, so which will it be, GLC or Toledo? And a possible date & time?
Im in for great lakes crossing. toledo is just too far for me. Is there a date set up?
Nope. Not yet. I'm waiting for people to start spitting out ideas. Come on, let's hear some suggestions!
april 30th? it would give us all enough time to get the day off if they need to, and having it on sunday would be good for the people that worked during the week.
Those sound like good reasons. Why not Saturday though, so we don't have to worry about being out too late. If it's on a Sunday, we'd all have to be home and in bed early to get up for work. But yeah, mid-late April sounds like a possibility. Any other suggestions people?
if it's a saturday I'd have to be home in time to catch up with my dd for the night!!! lol Anyways, We should pick a date soon, so we can plan for it. I would need like a month advance notice.
we are all meeting at great lakes crossing april 29th 2006. See the thread 'Spring 06 meet'
I'm sorry its an inconvience we can all meet again later int the summer i work 7days a week and took the day off i am gonna be there either stag or with whoever shows up in the parking lot near gameworks......
^So are you going or not? That message is a little confusing. :?
im going .....
all you complaining about distance c'mon.... i might do this and i live in chitown... keep me up guys I might make a trip to MI to hang out... hopefully the mx will be on the road
I haven't taken the EGT out of the garage for the summer yet.
but im up for a meet, distance isn't really an issue but we should gather a list of people interested and choose a location somewhere inbetween us all.
