Anyone addicted to Gran Turismo 3 for PS2???? I´m sittin here playin around with my cars doing top speed records.
I won this RUF RGT in a race and it looked awesome so I kept it and hopped it up to 1099 hp. I just hit a top speed of 264.5 mph redlining 6th gear...
This thing just shattered my old record from 3/19/03 when I hit a top speed of 243.5 mph with my 1072 hp Skyline GT-R V Spec (R34,J)

Here´s a nice size list of the top speeds of cars I have.

1. RGT - 1099 hp - 264.5 mph (It´s basically a Porche Carrera 911 GT3)
2. R34 - 1072 hp - 243.5 mph (Best AWD Car in the game, sides the 3kGT)
3. Z06 - 811 hp - 240.0 mph (Pure Black, Corvettes rock)
4. Viper GTS - 616 hp - 221.1 mph (not completely modded)
5. Z06 - 609 hp - 219.2 mph (Torch Red & not completely modded)
6. 300ZX - 561 hp - 214.5 mph (All white. All Fairlady.)
7. F090/S - 711 hp - 210.7 mph (looks like an Indy racecar)
8. Supra RZ - 515 hp - 210.6 mph (2nd fav Japanese car)
9. Mustang SVT - 534 hp - 204.5 mph - (5.4 Triton V8, Best stang ever)
10. Z28 - 695 hp - 201.1 mph (not completely modded, I think)
11. Escort Rally Car - 518 hp - 191.0 mph (Go Cosworths!)
12. Celica SS-II - 336 hp - 178.6 mph (BEST fwd cornering car)
13. RSX Type S - 339 hp - 173.8 mph (I won it, and modded it)

i play sometimes i have a carolla trueno i forgot the hp but its pretty good, i have lancer set up for rally with like 470 hp and every suspension mod., and my favorite car is my imprezza wrx wiht a little over 600 hp i think thats the main car i use, i usually oinly play games on saturday and sunday mornings because there is nothing else to do so im not to far in the game.oh and i almost forgot my mustang cobra gt with a shit load of hp but i dont use it much only when it a rwd only race.

Yeah my WRX STi (WR Blue Mica...it´s so blue-tiful) has 529 hp & topped out at 205.9 mph.
I also got the WRX Rally car Prototype. I have the Lancer EVO VI w/ 305 hp, an EVO VII RS w/ 305 hp, and an EVO VII GSR w/ 576 hp. Haven´t really driven them much. My Civic Type R outruns a stock NSX w/ it´s 440 hp. crappy handling car though.
An awesome car is the TVR Tuscan Speed 6, I have a Chameleon Blue/Green one tuned to 675 hp. It´s so cool looking.
Or you could get an Altezza RS200, I have a Blue Mica one tuned to 456 hp.
If you want a close race, tune a Supra RZ to 515 hp and a Silvia Spec R Aero to 523 hp. Me and a friend raced 5 times and I beat him four of them with my Supra. I taught him how to play this game so our driving styles are basically the same.

yeah i had a civic type r for a while to do the type r races it was pretty fast but i got rid of it after i won that race series.

Damn...my 625 hp RX-7 Ran itself a healthy 227.3 mph...Just 13 mph slower than my fastest Corvette.
Just think of what it could do if I had it completely upgraded to 689 hp with a better clutch and softer tires. hmmm... :-?

I love this game. I got myself re-addicted the other day. :-]
