I have a question. When I go to replace my rear struts, I will be using jackstands to keep the end in the air. Question is, where should the jackstands be mounted to keep the vehicle secure? Mind you, I had an RSX drop off the front mounted jack to the ground so I´m a bit nervous about relying upon jackstands. Want it to be solid! Better question I guess, for each corner of the car, where´s the best place to put a jackstand???

Best place to put the jack stands is just infront of the rear tires on the frame. there should be a part that sticks down about 1/2 in from the rest of the body that fit nicely into the tops of the stands.

The best possible place anywhere when jacking up a car is the frame 100% no doubt. That´s the only place I EVER jacked up any car I´ve worked on.
