I used to buy Castrol GTX from Schucks for 0.99/qt after rebate, but since they sold out to O'reilly the cheapest I can find is more than double that.

Anyone know who has sales on oil?

Near me I have: Schucks, Autozone, Baxter, NAPA, Carquest, Walmart, Bimart, probably more. I never see ads at any of these places for under 2.00/qt.

You can buy oil in large jugs that are typically cheaper than individual bottle too.

The cheapest oil I've seen lately is Walmart Super Tech. I think I noticed it for $2.27 a quart when I was in there over the weekend or you can buy a 5 quart jug for $9.50 which comes out to $1.90 a quart.

I buy my oil on the stock market. It's gone way up in the last few months.
