simply put i want to make my escort fast. gettin technical, i´m lookin´ for parts for my 88 lx to increase performance in power, handling, and styling. i´m sick of all the import heads takin´ all the glory, but if no parts manufacturers exist that can increase performance in my escort, i´m gonna give up, and that´s not a choice i´d easily make. can anyone help me find parts that would increase my escort´s performance, and leave the strip with a couple import wins under it´s belt? thanks in advance.

I"m on the same quest.I got a rear spoiler off of an old saab 900 turbo it matches my body lines well, has a large plane surface, and has room to install lighting.I havent finished the under side yet cause I havent decided what I want to put in, there are so many choices.I drilled two holes on the top of my headlight bodies and took out the pilot ion crystal head lights because they quit shipping them to wa.and my high beams had burned out.I wired 4 194 sockets to go into the holes I drilled and put blue bulbs into them.Then I the switch and connected that harness to my the output on the reverse switch and put blue 3157 bulbs in the reverse lights,but I quickly switched them back and bought the slip on covers cause they make a better blue.the reason I went this way is because I wanted to be able to shut them off where as with the pilot lights if you have your headlights on and a cop decides he has a problem with blue lighting your stuck.Now I just flip a switch and the lights go back to normal.well almost I masked the rear lights acura circle style and the front well they are like a cross between a mercedes and a ralley car hard to explain, the big lens little lens so they appear as four seperate lights.I am about to start tweaking on the 86´s lighting so I´ll let you know what I come up with if your interested.
