whats wrong with it? i bet that engine doesn't wind out to 7k rpm. but there has to be a somewhat good reason he put that engine into that car. (the only thing good on that car is the deck...hate to see a body in that bad of shape)
Diesel Escorts, particularly estates (wagons?) are common here and because of the extortionate price of petrol (gas?) are popular. Diesels were always thought of as sluggish and problematic but, I've been told by those who have them, are a different kettle of fish these days.

There was a guy on ebay that actually argued with me and said his 2nd generation lx had a 6 cylinder in it and it came stock but it wasn even a 6 cylinder it was the regular ole slow a$$ scort 1.9 i actually felt motor smart for the first time ever.(in your face james)
