New to the forums. I'm trying to get as much info as possible for a ZX2 that I'm trying to sell for a friend.

Is there an easy way to check what year it is? She seems to not know what year it is.

The year will be listd on the title. When you find out send me a PM with details about the car and it's location.

It's the 10th digit of the vin. Give me the letter and i'll decode it for you.

X: 99
0 or Y is 00, I can't remember
1: 01
2: 02
3: 03

yes, Y = 2000, zero and letter 'O' are not used.

I have that on my VIN.

FYI, model year 2010 VIN's use the letter A, last used in 1980.
