OK well im new to the bp world and even more to turbo. my question to you guys is what do you tune on? i was planning on buying an afc, afc neo or the safcII but a local escort guy told me i can not tune with any of these cause of the flap? that the bp maf has? i have no idea wtf he is talking about he showed me his maf and he drilled and whole threw it and stuck a bolt in there to hold the flap open a little to trick the computer wtf? lol i thought you can use an afc to tune any maf correct me if im wrong and can you please tell me what kind of tuning software to get.

Well, I guess it depends on what car, engine and turbo you'll be using.

its a 323 with a bp05 on boost...vj14 turbo basically stock...can i use an afc

if the 323 was turbo'd from the factory the ecu should control the tuning

no my 323 came with the 1.6 i put a egt bp05 in it and put it on boost

oh well use the GTX or GTR ecu. that's what a lot of the BP guys use if u read the sticky.

thats not what im asking i have a ecu...im trying to use an afc as well to do a little more tunning but i dont know much about the flap in the bp05 maf..thats why im asking a escort forum..

i have a question. if you have a "stock" EGT ecu with a "custom map" its no longer stock. am i wrong?

Now as of yet im not a Big turbo guy. im Also just learning by watching Silex and helping on his turbo build.

But i do have the common knowledge and dont ask whack questions then list things on the turbo club list. just sayin

lmfao how is it bs? go to intro and ull see my car there buddy...what im asking is about the bp05 maf and the flap bullshit..the car was looked over by a local escort guy and he told me the injectors looked stock and i had an n/a computer...the guy i bought the car from told me the computer was maped????? so im still learning about the car.....i bought the car the way it sits and the mods...

It does'nt matter what you do to the electronics, stock injectors are too small. Unless there is a FMU on there.

ok im in process of looking for rx7 turbo ii injectors which correct me if im wrong are 550??...the whole point of this point was to ask if i can use a AFC WITH THE BP05 MAF?
