Ordered some new plug wires. Guess what they came off of.
They are 9mm btw.

Anybody know how to shorten plug wires? I know I will need the special pliers, but will I need new terminals as well? Only wire number one is super long, but I would like to shorten number two a tad as well.

Unless it came as a generic, tailorable kit I wouldn't mess with them. Just my opinion.
I'm asking for a set of Magnecor's for my birthday. 8mm works fine for me and they snap into the wire looms.

you dont really need the special pliers. you have to be super careful shortening them. you have to uncrimp the plug edn off . then using a razor blade cut the wire to length. then using the same razor cut down into the insulation, strop about 1/2 inch of the internal carbon cord, fold it over on the insulation and recrimp the end on.

Well I have fixed the problem earlier this week. I got some of the pliers and everything turned out fine. Today my lifter tick sound seems worse so it seems I have something else to fix.
