So I've got our 88 GT pretty well completed for 1/4 mile dirt use this year. I just grabbed a front pair of new Koni's on ebay for it ($19, OMG!), so I figure now would be the the time to upgrade the springs if possible.

I see that Intrax makes springs, but im not gonna shell out $200 for anything on this car... So, where there any factory upgrades/swaps available? Or cheap aftermarket stuff?

Or should I just do the rears for more rotation or something? I know my rears have the ghetto shpring helpers on its now so im guessing they are shot...

It looks like Moog makes progressive springs for it... But really im still going to spend about $100 on a set.

I could probably get the non AC manual set as they seem to be the shortest of the offerings for the car.

Any other ideas?

Try the ZX2 springs. I think they might fit.
Or else go for some Mazda Protoge' springs.
