does anybody know what this is in the pic. The dealership called it a Crankcase ventilation Adaptor (part# F8CZ*6A665*AA) but i cant seem to find anything under that name. the car is a 99 escort sport. Mines has a small hole in it that shoots all the red stuff you see on the engine out when pressure builds up and it causing whit smoke from the tail pipe once the engine heats up.

it is a heater hose that warms the intake manifold - it is useless, remove it and get hose and couple them together to bypass that port.. the fluid you see is way over due to be changed anti-freeze - the white smoke is the anti-freeze leaking into the motor and burning off during combustion.

2 hoses, left and right are the heated coolant lines... the center runs to your PCV valve and is required, leave that 1 attached.

Remove the 2 small coolant lines from the sides of it. Get a brass coupling and 2 hose clamps and just fit the 2 hoses together. Leave the PCV hose on it. Get 2 vacuum caps and put them over the 2 open ports on the intake heater. Done.

You mean the metal piece or the hose? If its the hose then replace it with a new piece. If its the metal piece and you have bypassed the coolant hoses then ignore it unless it is leaking vacuum. If it is then try some JB-Weld.
