Hey, what is the little black nub that is on the outside of the car on both sides above the sideview mirror, right next to the window glass? My 2nd gen scorts have them, but I think other cars do too. Does this thing serve any purpose? One of mine is about to fall off, so do I need to be concerned?

Next time it Rains, watch where the water goes after your wipers pushes it off your windshield. It guides the water to the top of your side windows so you can see out of your side view mirrors safely. :-o
