well it counts by 2's on the meter with timing light then just kinda eye balled it. it seemed to work well i race this car on dirt and won my race by almost a half a track....lolFASTCORT said:how do you know how many degrees you advanced it?
i just pulled each plug at a time kept 4pronge unpluged and cranked it over and the engine was cold it bounced between 125-165therieldeal said:that's pretty low. my old beater had ~180k on it and the compression tested around 175psi.
just to make sure you're doing the test right... you removed all 4 plugs, unplugged the grey 4-wire plug from the distributor, and cranked it with the throttle wide open... right?
