With my 91 egt when it had 140 000 km I did a 16.2 with just a airfilter, but now that i think about it the airfilter didn't help me at all.

I1: 2.367 "60 feet"
I2: 7.060
I3: 10.002
mph (I3): 67.031
E.t: 16.224
mph: 84.556

My times where pretty much constant.

I think with a stock egt on a nice cool day you could do 15.9...

I'm running the stock times I guess....

I have the basic intake mods, removed the silencer and the resonator, but I have about 50 lbs worth of an amp & a sub w/ a box in my trunk too.
And.......your times are ______ (fill in the blank)

1/4 Speed:

I've quoted the stock times so much on here I figured everyone would remember them by now.

Scortadict: Didn't you also remove the rear seat?

Anyway, now with my questions, I know you advance the timing with the wires that are connected to the distributor cap and you can change the order of them but how is it done exacly? Also, advancing your timing: will it ruin your motor?

Thanks for the help

yep the rear seat was removed, the spare and the jack and i had 1/2 tank of gaz.

for the timing, mazda did it for me. if you run high octane you not get ping from the engine. in a magazine they moved to 20 degree on a 1.6 miata.
