Here's a thought - go to the local dump and have it weighed. Their scales probably aren't very accurate, but it'll give you an idea. People who work at dumps, from my experience, are just happy to talk to anyone about anything, so I'm sure they'll let you do it for free.

And while you're there, just drop off the vehicle.

I've been planning to do the dump scales thing some day when I've got my car all prepped. My plan involves asking politely. If they comply, I give them a pie or some cookies.

Be sure to get readings on just one axle (with you in the car), and with both axles (with you in the car). Then weigh yourself on a bathroom scale.

Then you should have weight distribution as well.

2400 would be nice. So I'll have to pick up a Box'O Joe and a dozen donuts and head up to the dump some time soon, probably after I throw on my bling 15 inch Borbets.. at least my 4 wheels will match then. If I'm below 2500 it'll be nice. I want 13's out of it, so the less weight the better.
