Hello everyone I know this has probably been done before but I would like to start a thread so everyone can post what they have done or are doing to their wagon. I hope I can get this thread going so that we can all get ideas from each other. What I would like to see is a picture of everyones wagon and what your are doing to to or what your are planning to do. :p

Mr. White got a wash job today, only the second one this year. Then he was driven to his accustomed parking spot (next to Black Beauty, our late son's Lincoln LS Sport) for the winter. Salt was spread 12/23 so those two cars won't be driven until spring. When he dries off (it's raining now), I'll cover him up to keep the tree stuff out of him.
Funny you should say that Mark. I washed my wagon yesterday. Not sure it got washed in 22 at all. Completely different color now.
Yeah, Mr. White is a lighter shade of white now too.
Just got rear struts and pretty much whole front end, except brakes. Ordering oil pan gasket. Soon get ready to color match an uncracked rear bumper. She's a 95 lx in Cayman green metallic.
Good to hear! I love that color, it was the color of our 1st Escort wagon back in '99, a '96 though. It's not a wagon, but our Pony turned 250,000 on the way to church Sunday.

New oil pan gasket, filter, and oil. That was easy, by the book, my soon to be sister in law let me use her 91 Ford dealer service manual. So handy. Last few weeks replaced the radiator, water pump, timing belt, serpentine, ball joints C.V axles, struts, the works. Bout to go replace the fuel filter, before I go to bed
Man, your doing it right! Do the whole brake system (inc. hoses, and cylinders and have a booster on hand) hit up the salvage yards for a supply of relays (fan relays in particular, there are 3 in a '95), if you have room, bumpers and you should be set until the apocalypse. Does future sister in law have an Escort to go with that manual? Post pictures when you are done.

Well, it wasn't today, but yesterday I uncovered, pumped the tires and wife and I took Mr. White to church yesterday. Of the 5 cars we have, Mr. White is her favorite. He is also the only one with an automatic.
Took out the front corner lights from the parts Tracer to put on my wagon.

Well drat. You can't interchange the sockets in the housings as they're different sizes too.
The Escort is a '92, and the Tracer a '95 or '96, but the housings have F3CE on them so the revision was done from 1992 to 1993 it would seem. Or were Tracers always different from Escorts (seems unlikely to me).

Our son did this to Mr. Black (a '94), and had no problem. He wanted to do it Mr. White, but being white, he needs all the color. Gabriel did change the taillights to Mercury without asking first, they are still on Mr. White.
I don't know the vintage of the Mercury's the lights came from. I will guess '94 and later because we just don't find many pre '94's Escort/Tracers here.
First generations are pretty much gone here as well.
Tried out my "new" Mazda Protege(?) wheels.

I like the look, but I think I'll but the steel ones back for now since I can't find my shiny closed cap wheel nuts, one of the tires has a slow leak that I need to fix, I'm missing one center cap and two of them are snow tires.

They do drive nicely, and don't pull even though the fronts are two different brands.

Could someone check "Stockwheels.com" for me to double check if the seven spoke aluminum wheels really are early '90s Protege?
The site is no longer accessible to me, I think because I'm in Canada.

Thanks! Looks like the '92 to '95 Protege is the winner.

A lady up the street has a nice '90s Corolla with a set of Escort aluminum wheels, I'm a bit envious.
