I just filled up today at 1.58 for 87 octane and it cost me 15 bucks for the 9 gallons I purchased, and I was thinking I wonder what the Canadians are paying per gallon or liter (whichever they use).

My good old crappy 16 miles per gallon is suckin down the cash :-o
Anyway, what´s the prices as of 2-9-03 in your areas?

The cheapest places around here have it for $1.59 a gallon. That´s here in Towanda. If you go to Elmira, NY or down to Mansfield, PA its at least $1.64 a gallon. What ever happened to gas being $1.05 or less. Actually I remember two summers ago when there was a gas war and prices went down to 92 cents a gallon. :-o Haven´t figured out my gas milage lately its probably about 18-20 mpg.

where i work.....it´s 1.59 for unleaded.....1.69 for plus, 1.79 for premium ...that´s self serve

full serve is 1.89 for unleaded......1.99 for plus...and like 2.05 for premium....

i went to sheets here in Reading and it was $1.52 for regular. cost me $23.00 to fill up my exploder. The gas isn´t going down anytime soon, and when the war starts be prepared for over 2 bucks a gallon. Where I live we are usually one of the lowest priced areas in the country, but not naymore i guess.

:-( I´m currently paying £3.40 per gallon for super-unleaded which, at approx. $1.58 to the £, is BLOODY EXPENSIVE!!! In excess of 80% is TAX!!
Still, I get approx. 32 mph so could be worse. :-?

I thought I had it bad paying $1.65 for premium for the Grand Prix. 87 octane here is only $1.47.

Oh, and last Monday´s on-highway diesel average was 152.40 cents per gallon. I´m calculating a levelling off around $1.63-1.67 in the event of action in Iraq. That puts premium fuel at $1.80 for my area. 87 octane will likely peak near $1.60. So for you other people out there, look at a cap of $1.70 for low octane until the deal with Iraq is done.

Well I guess I´m one of the lucky ones! I get my gas on base and it runs generally 5-10 cents cheaper than it does off base, last time I saw, it was about $1.45/gallon.

Wow you guys got it cheap. It is 1.75 for Arco unleaded, and 1.87 for shell, chevron, and 76.

Boy was I wrong! The DOE just reported on-highway diesel average to be 166.2. That means the #´s I reported earlier could go higher by 10-15 cents per gallon. That´s putting high octane around the $2.00 mark.
