Is there a website of some sort where I can type in my VIN to see the mileage because my speedo says 32,000 and ive checked old papers and stuff and none of them say anything over 32000 or over 100,000. Im wondering if maybe it has 32,000 original miles

it's quite possible. and if so, that's awesome you own a car that's 11 years old that has an average of just under 3k miles per year.

im thinking it very possible to. There a green inspection paper that says 27000 something back in 94 but when I bought the car it was pretty bad, blown headgasket and such so and the catalytic converter got hot supposedly and burnt the carpet inside the car a little but besides that the interior is in excellent shape so maybe it broke back then and whoever had it never bothered fixing it so its just been passed around and no ones got around to fixing it. Does anyone happen to have a car fax membership or something i think it will give the mileage. oh on my title it says exempt under the odometer part but it works and everything

um... the cat is infront of the motor. if your cat is melting your carpet its gotta be over 50000* and your motor is also a pile of melted aluminum and cast iron.

Must've made a typo there... The cat is always underneath the car, it's part of the exhaust? :? And it does get really hot, that's why they use platinum in it? I'm confused.

there is no possible way a websight could know how many miles you have drivin. the only way the car fax and such ppl know is everytime you get your oil changed they log the mileage on a massive server. dude... ive went thru 3 speedos and acording to carfax ive got a little over 100k but i actualy got about 120

It could tell you how many miles it had at one point in time, if reported in accurately during a safety inspection or ownership change, etc.

The mileage websites are never accurate... the spedo on my Grand Prix was stuck since the day I got it, and well, it says that I'm right on track..... but the last mileage check wasn't since like 1998 or something!!! but it was like 30 or 40000km less..... so I guess 151000km on a 92 isn't horrible. My escort when I bought it was a 94 with only 72000km, so 32000 miles is understandable..... mine woulda been like that, but my ex girlfriend's dad drove it to about 150km monthly or bi weekly (and nearing the time I got it) so that it didn't seize in the 8 or 9 years that my ex's grandma had it and he also drove it as his daily car for the last few months before I bought it.

it m,ay be possible that either a there is a bad coupling there on the exhaust or a pretty bad leak...as the exhaust is still pretty hot at that point
