i would definatly buy the repair book. when i did mine (91 lx),i had to take of the engine mount just to get it out.
it was definatly a all=day project . it wasnt all that hard, just a matter of knowing what to do.

whell if u have the first gen then u dont needa take out the mounts or anything like thet just get they hanyes repair book from pep boys and you will b fine i actually just did mine yesterday worked out fine just one timp from experience scrape the block clean b4 u put on the new pump. otherwise ull b at it again. good luck
