Does anybody else with a 2nd Gen notice that when you wipe your windshield fluid and/or water in general from your windshield, that if comes pouring in on the drivers side if your window is open? Not a drop on the passengers side.

I pissed around trying to fine tune the way the blade was sitting against the windshield but nothing seemed to make a lick of difference. Its not the washer pump, as it the action of the wiper blade itself causing this. It definitely happens worse on higher speeds, but even the lower speeds cause this problem.

It has extinguished my cigarette one too many times and it is pissing me off :)

Any ideas?

It's not just a 2nd gen problem, 3rd gens do it too. I found that out the hard way when I had the window down and used the washer. Washer fluid in the face is not fun!

Ya, I thought of Vent visors, but I think they look kinda lame, that is just my opinion.

I never noticed, because I don't have the windows open in the rain LOL.
I think almost all cars do this, except those that have a deep ridge where the windshield meets the A pillar, that is, the door's window frame completely hides the A pillar and protrudes past the glass, like the 83 T Bird does. It doesn't happen on the passenger side because the wipers don't wipe that way. I can't see how any wiper fiddling would help.
