    Hello all. It popped in my head a couple of days ago that shifting 8 inches up and down and like 3 feet to 5th gear is a little insane. So, I thought about installing a short shifter. Problem is, I have never done it and can't seem to find a nice guide or better yet, a video, anywhere on how to do it. Does anyone have a guide (hopefully with pictures) in mind? Also, tools needed to do it and amount of time it may take? Also, if anyone has a short shifter to recommend, please do!

    Yep. All 91+ Escorts use almost identical shifters.
