It keeps someone from coming to the site and spamming. If it weren´t there someone could easily bring down the forums overnight by posting rediculous amounts of posts. It´s better to make everyone wait a minute between posts than to pave the road for spammers.

I´d love to get rid of it *L* its annoying. however maybe waiting 30 seconds or something would have the same effect without pissing me off *L*. I´ll look into it

This only affects people who post just for the sake of posting. I can´t see how someone who acctually takes the time to read one post, then types a sesable response to that post and goes on to read another post, and types a sensable response to that one can do all of this in under a minute. Like I said I have run into it once, and that was because I typed a response than forgot to put something into id so I just added to my response right after. I probabluy should have just edited my previose response though. So if you are hitting that warning offten enough for it to get annoying, you might want to think about the content of your posts and ask your self, "Will my response really add to the validity of the post I am responding to, or am I posting this just because I want my name somewhere on every post on this website?" Quality of content is better than quantity of content.

So none of my posts are sensible then? I can type upwards of 100 wpm and I can easily get two posts in under a minute. ;-) :-]

sometimes...lol. If i know what I´m talkin about then I usually plan out what I´m going to say before I even hit ´reply to message´, but if it´s a little bit more thought provoking then no I can´t think 100 wpm ;-)
