Typical symptoms. Rough idle, Speedo dancing around, brake light and service engine soon light on (P0500 code). So I replaced the original ford vss with a new VSS and now the speedometer, odometer & trip meter don't work. I was driving around town and noticed the engine started sputtering on acceleration again and the service engine light came back on (same P0500 code). Did I miss something in the install or did I get a faulty unit?
