Hello everyone. I have a 99 ZX2. My speedometer and odometer stopped working. Replaced the VSS and still doesn't work. While taking the steering wheel off to get to the clockspring (horn stopped working) I decided to remove the instrument panel. Tried reseating the three wiring harnesses going to the back of the cluster which didn't work. One white wiring harness on the left side, and one black and one white wiring harness on the right side of the cluster. Anyone know which harness and which set of wires carries the signal from the VSS to the cluster?
While i had the VSS out, i could spin the gear and get a voltage reading. Figured testing the wiring at the back of the cluster would be the easiest way to verify if it's an intermittent VSS issue, wiring, or instrument cluster issue.
