DAM, i remember when u first got it all otgether and boosted. Nice very nice, those numbers are sick. and some say that the sohc motors are crap...pft. I love torque, keep it up.
All in all I am majorly impressed with the numbers Jeff. Amazing. I am looking at boosting very soon and I cant wait everytime i see something like that it makes me get tingles.
no i didnt forget. i just took it to a higher level...
but as far as the non boosting in 1st gear goes.. you have to keep it in n/a mode until you hit about 3500-4k to punch it or youll insta-burn out. also, keeping the imrc closed in first is a good idea... just play arround with it. it took me a while to re learn how to drive it. i think that now im just starting to figure it out.
Here's another print out from the day of the dyno.
It show's that the stock pump, fuel lines, filter and fuel rail can supply enough fuel to still be off the chart rich at 209hp and 258tq.
That is at about 75psi of fuel pressure at the rail with the main injector's being 24lb plus 2 additional 42lb injector's.
I'm pretty sure it has some thing to do with 84lb's of injector being turned on manually at one time with 75 pounds of fuel pressure pushing behind it. I got desperate for fuel, so I had to take drastic measures. I was'nt gona let a little lean situation make me pack up and go home early.
dear god, all of those awesome numbers were had on an A/F of ~10.5:1?!?!?! Im sorry Jeff, but it might be time to give in and MS that thing.... If you had a good tune, god only knows what kind of power could be made.
