Cougar was based off the European platform with a 2 stage intake Duratec V6, this is still an Escort, same Japanese BG chassis as mid 90's Escort but with a Mazda 4 stage intake V6 (VRIS) and a much higher rev limit (9,000rpm). I had issues with pump E85 consistency and lately I have been mixing 93 with E85 for E50 and tuning to that. Let's just say it's in the low 11 range possibly 10 if I throw slicks on, traction still an issue at 80mph and haven't been able to get past 16psi on the 66mm turbo because of the traction issues on the street. It needs more track time to dial in, but I will have to de-tune it to run no faster then 11.5 1/4mi and keep it under 150mph if I want to keep my interior the way it is, if you know the rules then you should understand why.So what you got there is a Eighth gen Mercury Cougar with a trubo ?
Cool car regardless, and 1/4 times or slips ?
