Where is the clutch safety switch on an '82 with a four speed? I can't find one on my wiring diagram nor can I find one around the pedal. Is there any kind of neutral switch on the stick shift cars?

The clutch safety switch will be located on the clutch pedal itself. Look at the pedal under the dash, and where it mounts. You'll notice the cable adjust quadrant, and there should be the safety switch in that area.

If it's not there, then it might've been removed or disabled. They all came with one then, but I have seen them be removed, basically telling the computer the clutch pedal is always pressed in.

Hehehe....if the car is stock, then it has a Duraspark II ignition system for ignition control, which is a computer ;)

If you didn't know, you can run 12 volts to the one small screw connector on the starter relay, and the engine will crank.
