Two questions that are driving me nuts that google can't seem to help me with

    1) Ok so is there ANYWHERE or ANYONE that is selling a MINT set (fronts only will work as well) of the 2nd gen (1991) GT red pipped seat upholstery???

    2) Is there any online store/shop/site that sells a good quantity of OEM interior parts??

    THANKS!

Doubtful you'll find mint condition seats. Likely you'll have to have an upholstery shop do a custom rebuild. My suggestion would be to head over to the junkyard watch thread on feoa and let people know that you're looking. if they're out there to be had, someone will see them there.

If the seats fit dimensionally, do it. You might have to play around with the tracks because the floors are different, but it can work

If he wasn't foxy none of this would be possible.

True ... very true.... but what he was able to do with his GT turbo fox in such a short time earned him the title...

Plus he gives me free access to tools, the shop, can find what ever on CL for me and handy as fuck in most respects. For this girl he is a keeper...... oh and he doesn't laugh at me for my love of my escort, he fully supports my dorkdom....even my starwars shit.

I'm surprised no one mentioned MX3 seats. I have a set in my wagon and they bolt right in without having to modify the track to make it fit. They are recaro bucket seat style.

I also have a set of MX6 GT Turbo seats that would work nicely for sale if you are interested. I was going to install these in my wagon but once I got the MX3 seats and they bolted right in I decided to just stay with it. The MX6 seats shouldn't take much to make work.

Here's a pic of both seats:

I didn't realize the MX-6 had such nice seats.

not sure if your local craigslist panned out, but I have a set of fronts, rears and door cards from a '95 LX. they are dark gray with individual red, green and orange thread accents. subdued and tasteful, to my eye, and not a screaming plaid.

also not sure about fitment, especially the door cards, but the seats are probably easier to fit than a completely different platform like a mustang...

let me know and I can get pics...

I really like them. They also came with a factory subwoofer under the seat bottom so that you can really feel that bass! LOL! They're really comfy but have nice support when you decide to get on the loud pedal!
