Well it's been a while, and I've been insanely busy with school. In the process we were able to make a few upgrades to the 'ol computer setup. Mainly a new one

The old family computer wasn't cutting it for all of the heavy 3D CAD programs I run, plus we needed some software upgrades. Here's what we got:

2.4 GHz Pentium 4 processor
10024 Mb, ie 1Gb of memory 8O
52/24/52 CD-ROM/RW
3 pc. speakers /w subwoofer
17" LCD Samsung Flat Panel monitor
Microsoft keyboard and mouse :roll:

We also got the other computer hooked up to form a family network with (my favorite part :wink: ) high speed internet.

To almost sweeten the deal, we got a free digital camera! Unfortunately free is where the good things end. The resolution is horrible! But it can also be used as a web cam. Here's a sample

It's only .1 Mega Pixle. By contrast, the photo in my signature is not even 1 Mega Pixle, but for sure not less than .5 Mega Pixles.

Oh well, now I can go where no 56K has gone before! Keep the good pics coming. It'll be a while before I do since I'm not at work and I havn't purchased another camera yet.

So much to do, so little time :?

congrats on the ew pc. i'm trying to save for a new one, but it's hard when you are saving for car parts as well. on top of paying off loans and paying rent. damn!

I'm fortunate enough right now to still live at home, so that really helps. Not to mention Mom does the cooking for me Good thing Escort parts are cheap, not like those imports..... (cough).......
