Dude your a genius, I am having that problem, that wheel is a bit to high. I havent really got to try out the strut bar much because my damn struts are gone and when I make a sharp turn, the wheels rub, so untill I get some new struts, I cant really test it out. And the spoiler took aobut 1 hour 30 mins thanks to a friend (red97lxscort) wasnt to difficult either, if you have a problem pm me of red97lxscort. thanks everyone for teh comments.Etienne said:I have those same exact seats, and my spoiler is sitting in a box at my moms! lol, but it's the same too... hey, if you feel the steering is too high now and want it lower but don't have a tilt steering, you might wanna go to home depot and get some longer bolts and some slightly larger size nuts you can shove in there to lower the steering... I needed two nuts for every bolt and now I've got a perfect driving position... I'm telling you this because some guy I know who is an escort/protege genius had the same problem, but never thought of such a simple solution... :?
errr... thanks..actually, now that I've had a minute to think, it's more like two nuts each in the front and one nut and a couple washers in the back... because the steering comes down following an arc, thus the angle gives it more space in the front than the back... but anyways... I've been meaning to put on the spoiler for years (yes it's been sitting that long... shame on me...) but have had otehr issues to tend to and don't have the cash to get it painted and I've never done much body work mysalf and I'm scared to mess it up... right now, I've got no guide to follow as my car has no spoiler whatsoever.. :? <--- yeah I like this emoticon... hihiDude your a genius, I am having that problem, that wheel is a bit to high.
I feel you on this one... I should post a pic of my engine bay.... I've got your leaves, twigs, small animals.... whatever you want, it's probably stuck in there... but for some reason the "Ford" on my Valve Cover is Shiny as all hell.... but the rest of the engine bay is a mess.... thanks to a leaking PS pump.highanddry said:Alpine 6-1/2" fronts?
Why does it look like you just bought a brand new valve cover and installed it right before taking this pic?
The engine bays in the cars you guys own offend me. It's a car...not an operating room. Get some dirt, leaves, mud, bird nests, paddles and dead cats in there, for crying out loud.
*walks away feeling woefully inadequate*
