Look at what i picked up for $200!...been awhile since ive been on here month or so...still have the 98 lx but its just sitting...probably scrapping or parting it out..in need of a new tranny i cant afford....now as for the GT which is an easy fix and definatly interest me more!...needs head gasket replaced interior cleaned alot,new front bumper and a few dings taken out/new panels either way, and possibly a new shifter but it does run and drive! ....Checking for corrosion/warpage of head n block also just to be on the safe side im out of town as of tomorrow-sunday so i probably wont be checking much until then!...here are a few pics, ive been tearing into it since then.....took off exhaust manifold water poured out of the ports .....but no worries im here to rescue her! ...thanks for looking!

Yiiiikees, that's quite the project. Hopefully it works out well for you. If it needs a head gasket, check out the rod bearings and make sure the crank is still good.

**UPDATE**

Well back at work on the escort after a loooong thanksgiving..hope everyone had a good one at that!...i sure did! ...now as for the escort, ripped into it some more...not much daylight between getting up at 5am and getting home 1hr before dark ....so heres what i have done...pretty much just disconnected a few things here and there and took the valve cover off to see what im working with everything looks great so far...here is a pic you tell me...? asforuwho dont know im just replacing the head gasket...so should i take the intake off or leave it bolted?...im having issues...fuel rail...intake etc etc...what should i do?...thanks for the help!
